The Escaping Personality

This project was an investigation of how we as humans perceive and portray ourselves to the world. Viewing the body as a casket, I have explored using metaphorical devises to represent the idea of 'self'. Having a transparent and breakable form with the option to fill or leave empty, with a lid or no lid, I felt represented best what I was trying to achieve. The fillings in the jars are small details from information I have collected and interpreted about how people view their own personality.
